A 60 years-old Caucasian patient was admitted in our Department to perform an infusion of rituximab iv as third-line treatment for PV. PV appeared 1 year before with multiple lesions in the oral mucosa and in several parts of his body, including chest, back, and legs. The patient was previously treated firstly with prednisone (1.5 mg/kg day), then with azathioprine (at 2.5 mg/kg day) and cyclophosphamide (1 gr. iv bolus) without any improvement.
